Edgewater’s Best-Kept Secret: Margaret Pace Park
Posted 11.21.2024One of the primary reasons to move to East Edgewater is the neighborhood’s eponymous waterfront location. From panoramic views and cool sea breezes to easy access to boat launches and seaside walkways, East Edgewater is a water lover’s dream neighborhood come to life. Residents of the forthcoming Edgewater condos at Missoni Baia will wake up each day in their own private waterfront home, complete with a deep-set terrace and floor-to-ceiling windows that make the most of this prime location. Additionally, just a mile south of the tower, residents will find one of the Miami waterfront’s best-kept secrets, waiting to be explored.
Margaret Pace Park features eight acres of green space and recreational attractions right on the shore of Biscayne Bay. The urban park was created in the late 1960s thanks to the efforts of Margaret Pace, a Miami preservationist known for her work as chairwoman of Royal Palm State Park (which later became part of the Everglades National Park) and as a founder and president of the Miami Garden Club. The park is located next to a cross-section of Miami architectural history, with the massive Omni development and the Miami Women’s Club, where Margaret Pace once served as vice president.
The park is home to a host of recreational areas, including much-loved tennis and basketball courts, a playground, and picnic tables. Lawns and benches make great areas to settle in and enjoy the waterfront view of the Venetian Islands and Miami Beach across the bay. (It’s not a bad place to people-watch either!) Whether they prefer to soak up some sun rays behind a good book or toss a frisbee for all to see, Miamians love flocking to Margaret Pace Park whenever the sun is shining.
When hunger strikes, park visitors can grab a bite at the nearby Daily Creative sandwich shop. Whether they’re in the mood for a hearty Cuban Scramble, a few slices of sweet Challah French Toast, or a fusion-style egg wrap, the Daily Creative is sure to have something on its menu for every hungry Miamian.
And the residents of Missoni Baia’s Midtown Miami condos can be back in the comfort of their own Edgewater home just minutes after finishing their workout or picnic in Margaret Pace Park. As the sun sets, they can relax in the building’s massive private spa, unwind in one of its many pools or hot tubs, or mix up a cocktail and take in the fading light from their private terrace. Please contact our team to learn about the waterfront lifestyle you can have at Missoni Bai. When you live here, all of Miami becomes your playground.
